What a sad world we live in...

When you can't even find an honest war profiteer!!!

it begs the question: Did he ever work at TYCO?

the thing that makes it the saddest, i think, is that they're supposed to be producing military armor...i wonder if it's related to the military having no armor? if it is, why wasn't it caught before? the lack of armor, and good armor, has been an issue since 2003...
i have to wax philosophic for a moment...why is it that when a CEO steals money from a company and it's investors and lies all over the place to get what they want out of it, they get fired and brought up on charges; but the current administration does the same thing driving us from a surplus into our most incredible national debt ever, and nothing happens? bush is essentially an idiot CEO and any company would have fired him...so why don't we?

feel free to delete this...

p.s. am i a war profiteer? i won $20 from brother thom for going to war within a year of bush's first term, another $20 when the military invaded iraq and am awaiting another $20 over the WMDs that he believes are really there, but just haven't been found yet.

BTW, valerie plame wilson, the outed CIA covert agent said that the informant, code named curveball who was cited as having supplied the WMD info. was well known throughout the intelligence community to be an unreliable source, and she felt that there was absolutely a rush to war. She also said that Cheney put pressure on them to use the unreliable information before having back-checked it's accuracy (something the CIA apparently used to do...) She stated that there was no possibility that the amount of time between which the information was received and the war was begun was sufficient enough to have even checked it once. not even once! holy hell!
by the way, if ur local library gets it, the book is called: Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House...
hugs!
